Just checked the Explorer is 84 TPI, and the Explorer Protection is 180 TPI. Unlike most companies, Conti adds up the tpi count of each casing layer while every one else states it as in a single layer. So 180 tpi in a Conti = 60 in others. I have been looking for a good priced Explorer to buy.
